Are you an aspiring entrepreneur looking to turn your innovative ideas into a successful business? We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Innovate Indiana (I-2) Startup Boot Camp, where you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the world of small business.
Our comprehensive course covers essential topics and practical skills to help you build a strong foundation for your business. By the end of this course, you will be expected to:
- Create and use a business model plan.
- Understand and use financial information relevant to small businesses.
- Study how well a product fits the market.
- Learn about legal formations for businesses.
- Examine different ways to distribute products.
- Learn and practice customer discovery skills.
- Evaluate and improve revenue streams.
- Identify and maximize methods to raise capital.
This camp is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and valuable insights. You will have the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, receive personalized feedback, and gain the confidence needed to take your business to the next level.

Leadership Indiana County
For the 8th year, Leadership Indiana County will be held at the TEC. Visit the website for more information and to sign up. Workshops run over lunch from Sept. 3 - Oct. 22.

Digital Freelancing and Entrepreneurship Program

Designed for people serious about making money, TEC's newest program is for 18-30 yr olds who want to expand their skills using digital software. Participants will have 10 weeks of instruction in business fundamentals as well access to their own high-end workstation. Workshops will be Wednesday evenings from 5 - 8 pm. A pizza and drinks dinner will be provided. Cost is $50. No experience necessary. Applications are closed for this semester. (Already completed for 2023 and 2024.)
Game Development for Teens
This summer (2023) the TEC is offering a full schedule of Tech Summer Camps for students aged 11-17 yrs old. The TEC Game Development for Teens camp is very similar to the Girls Gaming Academy but thanks to funding from CNB Bank it can be offered to girls or boys at a reduced price. It is a fun, relaxed way to get youth interested in the many different skills involved in game design, including art and graphics, 3D modeling, coding, animation, lighting, audio, etc... It is being offered twice in Summer 2023 because of limited seating (currently 9 seats). The camp runs from 8:30 - 11:30 am in the morning Mon-Fri for two weeks. (Already completed for 2023.) Photography and Editing for Teens

Teens (11-18yrs old) who really want to know how to use their camera will enjoy this fun and relaxed introduction to photography and photo editing. Led by a young professional photographer, and assisted by a professor from the Communications Media Dept at IUP, this workshop will combine outdoor photo shoots with photo editing. Participants will have the chance to print and take home a large-format image each week. No experience necessary. A DSLR camera is recommended. The camp runs from 8:30-11:30 am in the morning Mon-Fri for two weeks. (Already completed for 2023.) For more information feel free to reach out to info@TECenter.org
VR, Avatars, and Animation

Teens (11-18 yrs old) who are really into gaming will love this workshop. Using a 3D scanner, they will scan their own face and body, build a 3D model, learn to animate it, and then have it come to life in Meta Quest 2 headsets using the Unity game engine. No experience necessary. The camp runs from 1 - 4 pm in the afternoon Mon-Fri for two weeks. (Already completed for 2023.) For more information feel free to reach out to info@TECenter.org
Content Creation and Social Media Marketing

Teens (11-18 yrs old) who want to get into content creation, including photography and video editing, will enjoy this relaxed introduction to some of the modern tools being used by today's influencers. Led by a young professional media creator, and assisted by a professor from the Communications Media Dept at IUP, this workshop will combine photo, graphics, and video editing with best practices in social media marketing. Participants will have the chance to print and take home a large-format image each week. No experience necessary. (Already completed for 2023.)
